BornBound LLC - Lifetime Warranty for Triathlon Products
At BornBound LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Our triathlon products come with a comprehensive warranty to ensure your satisfaction and confidence in our brand.
CANCELLATION
To comply with EU law, customers from the EU will have the right to cancel an order before the product is fulfilled. To exercise this right the customer must click on the below link and sign in via the options given. The link will take the user through an authentication process to access any purchases made by the customer that are related to the email address entered when the purchase was made, or the customer's account. WARRANTY
Lifetime Warranty - BornBound products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the reasonable lifetime of the product when used for their intended purpose and in accordance with any applicable care instructions.
This warranty covers faults arising from the manufacture, construction or materials of the product.
It does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by external events or circumstances, including accidents, crashes, falls, collisions, impact, abrasion, misuse, improper care, alteration or modification, or any other damage that is not attributable to a defect in the product.
Where a product is faulty and the customer is entitled to a repair or replacement under their statutory rights, BornBound will bear any necessary postage costs associated with providing that remedy.
This Lifetime Warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.
One-Year Crash & Accidental Damage Replacement - For one year from the original date of purchase, BornBound provides an additional replacement service for products accidentally damaged during their intended sporting use, including damage resulting from a crash, fall, collision, impact or abrasion.
This protection is provided as an additional benefit and applies to accidental damage that is not caused by a defect in the product.
Where a claim is accepted under this Crash & Accidental Damage Replacement service, the customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the damaged product to BornBound and for the postage and handling costs of sending the replacement product to the customer. BornBound will provide the replacement product itself without charge.
This protection does not cover deliberate damage, misuse, improper care, alteration or modification, loss or theft.
The One-Year Crash & Accidental Damage Replacement service is separate from your statutory rights relating to faulty goods. Nothing in this provision requires a customer to pay postage or handling costs where BornBound is legally required to bear those costs in connection with a remedy for faulty goods.
Warranty and Replacement Claims - To make a claim under our Lifetime Warranty or One-Year Crash & Accidental Damage Replacement service, please contact BornBound with proof of purchase, a description of the fault or damage and photographs clearly showing the product and the area concerned.
We may require the product to be returned to BornBound for inspection before approving a warranty or replacement claim. A replacement will not normally be dispatched until any requested product has been received and assessed by us.
Where inspection confirms that the product has a defect in its materials, manufacture or workmanship and the claim is covered by our Lifetime Warranty or the customer's statutory rights, BornBound will bear the necessary costs of returning the product and supplying any applicable repair or replacement.
Where the product has been damaged as a result of an accident, crash, fall, collision, impact, abrasion or other external cause and a claim is accepted under our One-Year Crash & Accidental Damage Replacement service, the customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the damaged product to BornBound and for the postage and handling costs of supplying the replacement.
Any damaged product replaced under either scheme will become the property of BornBound and will not be returned to the customer.
Where a replacement is due, BornBound will provide an identical product where reasonably available or, if that product is no longer available, a comparable replacement.
These warranties and additional benefits are provided in addition to your statutory rights and do not affect those rights. UK consumers have statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
RETURNS
We are committed to selling high-quality products and hope you will get hours of enjoyment training and racing in them. However, we also realise that for one reason or another, you may need to exchange or return something you've bought. We don't however send out returns forms with your order, so please download and complete the relevant download, depending upon the country you are returning the item to. BORNBOUND won't accept any items back without a returns form.
BORNBOUND will only accept returned items (for exchange, ill-fitting or change of mind) that are returned in new, fully resale-able condition (undamaged, complete with original tags attached and original packing) within 30 days for an exchange or a refund (excluding postage). Returned garments must not have been used or worn, apart for when trying on.
UK RETURNS
If you purchased BornBound products from the BornBound UK website (managed by our UK distributor, OCCHIO CC), then please download the returns form and send your products to the UK distributor address below.

REFUNDS
If you're not totally satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) in fully re-saleable condition within 30 days for a refund. Only the cost of the goods will be refunded — you will need to pay the return carriage costs.
Card, PayPal and other payment method refunds will be made on the first working day after we have received the item(s) back and pending the condition of the goods returned.
EXCHANGES
We will ship your replacement item(s) to you for free, once we have received the returned goods in new and resalable condition.
